1. Make sure you are getting the recommended daily value of Zinc. In adults the recommended amount is 11mg per day. 

Foods that contain more zinc are: Ground beef, chicken, oysters, crab, almonds, cashews, potatoes, sweet potatoes. Zinc is also available in low amounts in fruits and veggies.
